Overall its nice. The story is clear (besides the UFO suddenly repaired itself at the end??). I like your camera angle, it suits the actions. But anyhow, i feel you are trying to play safe with ya camera. Maybe you could consider some extreme dynamic cams.
Anyway, this will be a really nice animation. I am looking forward for it! It's alot of work on animation and texturing I suppose, but it should be fine for you. Keep it up, man! =]

the alien saw a glimpse of the monster and his arm device notified him about the monster's source of power. he set up the trap, and the obtained the monster's power source and the UFO auto-hovered.

Lol, not really wtf, maybe what you're missing's more dramatic bgm and sfx. Camera works and how the scene cuts to other scene can be improved, some parts doesn't have to be too long, and since you're doing a more action packed animation, dynamic angles will help a lot in this. What I don't really feel in this clip though is the anticipation and the tension between these 2 characters. 8D I'm looking forward to see the final movie though. Good luck ^_^
Nice, Cheezy. But don't worry too much about timing. During animation stage, you will eventually be changing certain camera angles and timing to suits your animation. Make sure the shot have 'beats'. =]
Anyway, are you gonna make it as if its a game animatic or blockbuster movie style?
this animatic is very simplified. working on the pre-vis now which would have much better camera angle but still no anticipation until later animation phase.
the light and mood will be very contrast like aliens, dark shadows. realistic, and yes, blockbuster style. as real and detailed as it could possibly get. gonna put my all into this.
